🧾 POLICIES & TERMS OF SERVICE — Turbo Steam Carpet Cleaning (TSCC)
1) Service Area
TSCC services selected northern suburbs of Perth:
Alkimos, Banksia Grove, Burns Beach, Butler, Carabooda, Carramar, Clarkson, Currambine, Eglinton, Heathridge, Iluka, Jindalee, Joondalup, Kinross, Merriwa, Mindarie, Ocean Reef, Quinns Rocks, Ridgewood, Tapping.
If your suburb isn’t listed, please contact us before booking. We may decline or cancel out-of-area bookings.
2) Bookings & Payment
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received (or as otherwise stated on the booking page).
Prices are based on the service selected, measured area (m²), condition, and access not appointment time.
Payment methods accepted: PayID, Bank Transfer, Apple Pay, Visa/Mastercard, Revolut, and Cash (where offered).
3) Measuring Area (m² Pricing)
Services sold by square metre are priced on the total carpeted area cleaned, including spaces under furniture.
We will confirm the measured area on arrival.
Any changes to size or scope will be explained and approved before work begins.
4) Additional Area & Scope Changes
If the measured area exceeds the package selected, additional carpet is $10 per m² (approved before starting).
Additional services (e.g., stain treatment, pet treatment, extra rooms/areas) are charged separately where applicable and only performed once approved.
5) Cancellations & Rescheduling
Changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Cancellations/reschedules within 48 hours incur a 50% cancellation fee, and the remaining 50% will be refunded.
Where possible, TSCC may offer a reschedule option at our discretion, subject to availability.
6) No-Show / No Access Policy
If our technician attends and the service cannot proceed due to no-show, no access, locked gates/doors, incorrect address/details, or unsafe conditions, this is treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.
7) Results, Stains & Wear Disclaimer
TSCC guarantees professional workmanship; however, cleaning results vary depending on material type, age, and condition.
Some stains, discolouration, odours, shading, wear, fading, or fibre damage may be permanent and not removable by cleaning.
Certain stains (including dye transfer, bleaching/chemical marks, rust, long-set spills, sun damage) may not fully remove or may look different after treatment due to underlying material damage.
We will advise if something is unlikely to improve, but final outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
8) Pet Urine & Odour Disclaimer
Pet urine can soak into the underlay and subfloor. While treatments can significantly improve odour and staining, complete removal cannot be guaranteed in severe or long-term cases. Severe contamination may require additional treatment, multiple visits, or in some cases underlay replacement/subfloor sealing by a specialist.
9) Hard Floors Policy (No Wood Floors)
TSCC cleans non-wood hard floors such as tiles, vinyl, laminate, and outdoor concrete/surfaces where suitable.
We do not steam clean wood/timber floors due to moisture and heat sensitivity.
10) Upholstery & Fabric Disclaimer
Upholstery results vary depending on fabric type, dye stability, wear, and previous treatments. Some marks, colour variation, shrinkage risk, pilling, or fabric wear may not be fully correctable by cleaning. We will advise if a fabric appears delicate or high risk before proceeding.
11) Customer Responsibilities (Access & Preparation)
Customers are asked to:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the booked time.
Secure pets and remove fragile/valuable items from cleaning areas.
Provide parking/access instructions (unit numbers, codes, gates).
Move small items where possible. TSCC can clean around heavy furniture; measured area still includes under furniture.
12) Drying Times & Aftercare
Drying times vary depending on airflow, weather, material, and soil level. Most carpets and upholstery dry within 2–6 hours. Improved ventilation and fans help speed drying. Avoid heavy traffic until fully dry.
13) Safety & Right to Refuse Service
TSCC may refuse or stop work where conditions are unsafe, aggressive behaviour occurs, or access is not provided. If service cannot proceed due to unsafe conditions, it may be treated as a no-show/no access attendance.
14) Communication & Photos
Photos may be requested to provide more accurate quotes and advice. Final assessment may still be confirmed on-site due to varying conditions.
15) Service Guarantee & Follow-Up Policy
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, you must notify TSCC within 48 hours. TSCC will assess the concern and, where it is due to workmanship and within reasonable ability to remedy, will return to re-clean/re-treat the affected area once at no additional charge.
This guarantee does not apply to permanent staining, dye loss, wear, prior damage, material defects, contamination in underlay/subfloor, or issues outside the scope of the booked service.
